A thumbnail biography:
David H. Friedman received the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, specializing in digital signal processing (DSP). His experience ranges from academic teaching and research through systems and software engineering in private industry including consulting work and a stint at a startup, at which he became de-facto technical team leader. Since 1992 he has been located in Austin, TX, and has become interested in ways of promoting the ideational process for creation of startup companies.
